NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk as base

Revlon Kohl Eyeliner in White for waterline

Maybelline Volume Express Mascarra

Ardell #110 (used half a strip on each eye) + Duo glue

LIPS:

NYX Lipstick in Thalia

NARS Lipgloss in Pillow Talk

Refer to the numbered eyeshadows (# 1-6) for the ones I used.

1. Apply a base all over the lid, the brow bone and the lower lash line. Go ahead and define your brows with a brow pencil or a powder, whatever you prefer.

2. Using a shader brush, pack a light purple shade (#1 - see palette photo) all over your lid. With the other side of the brush, layer a medium purple (#2) on the outer corner of the lid and wedge the shader into your crease to apply the same color, then blend with a blending brush.  It should look something like this:

3. Darken the outer-v with a deep purple color (#3). A pencil brush or any detail brush is good for this so you can apply the shadow precisely. Apply the shadow on the tip of the brush and starting from the outer corner, use feathery strokes to apply the shadow in a "V" shape. Then blend again with a blender brush.

4. With the same pencil brush, apply a blue eyesahdow (#4) on the lower lashline. I chose blue just for kicks... :)

5. Finish by lightly applying a pinkish purple shade (#5) to the crease, then a matte, white eysahdow (#6) to highlight the brow bone and inner corner. Line eyes with a black gel liner or a kohl pencil, then apply false lashes, if you wish. I also lined the lower waterline with a white pencil so that the eye doesn't look too heavy.

6. Top off your look with a peachy blush and a nude, pinky lip color and you're set for the night!

My Own Beauty Train Case

Let me give you a little peek into my train case!

My boyfriend gave this to me last year as a Christmas gift. This is one of the most exciting gifts I have ever received! With all the makeup I was collecting, it was great to finally have a cute, handy case where I can keep all the goodies in. 

TZ Case. I love the gold on black! Comes with an adjustable strap that you clip on to the sides. Both latches can be locked with the key it comes with so you can keep all your makeup safe.

Here's a snippet of some of the makeup I keep in here. There are three expandable trays on the top that slide out. I store pencils, concealers and small tubes on the left. Lipsticks, lipglosses and cheek products are on the right since the tray is deeper. Foundation bottles, face powders, eyeshadow palettes and other tools are stored at the bottom. The foam dividers can be removed to customize you storage.

I also have a baby train case from Stila to keep the makeup I use almost daily.  I purchased this from drugstore.com mainly because it had other Stila goodies that came with the purchase. There's an iPod connector inside so you can listen to music or watch videos while getting pretty. There are built in speakers (if you could see those 2 circles in front) to convert your makeup case into a boom box.

This one is great for out of town trips since the case is sturdy and will prevent shattered eyeshadows and compacts.

I Never Thought I'd Be Blogging!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to My Beauty Train Case! My name is Ria and I loooove makeup. I'd put on makeup just for kicks (and to practice) even if I have nowhere to go. My visit to the mall is incomplete if I don't stop by a cosmetics store or counter. Watching beauty and makeup videos on YouTube is my numero uno past time. I have a compulsion to collect eyeshadows and brushes because they're so pretty to look at, haha.

My love affair with makeup began as a 7-year old wearing mommy's high heels and putting on her lipsticks to play "grown up". Of course, it made her mad when I broke some of her lipsticks. Fast forward to my twenty somethings... I was inspired by the beauty vloggers in YT to extensively get into makeup and pave my way to becoming a makeup artist. Well, I'm not a makeup artist, yet! It's in the works. :)

This blog is my outlet to chatter about beauty and makeup and to document my makeup pursuits. I want to share tips and reviews with other makeup junkies and help others in their own makeup pursuits. I hope you find this blog enjoyable and a site you would frequent. I'm new to blogging, so feel free to offer your thoughts and any constructive criticism.
